The East Limestone Indians had a successful season and they were able to make it to the playoffs. The Indians record was 5-5 and 5-1 in there region. The Indians have had some setbacks early in the season by starting 0-2 but have overcome by having a winning record in our region and earning a spot in the playoffs. East is hosting the region game against CenterPoint on November 5th.

One of our top players this season includes previous player of the week Fortune Wheeler who is looking to break a school record with one thousand thirty one rushing yards with one hundred seventeen rushing attempts and sixteen touchdowns.

A key to our accomplishments this year Coach Thaxton said is ‘‘We came together as a team and played hard all season.”

Coach Pugh wrapped up the season with “We had a couple of injuries throughout that hurt us during the season, we also would fight hard, we just need to learn how to finish in the 4th quarter.”
